Another great source of info on adjusting reeds is the Kalmen Opperman
booklet, "Handbook for Making and Adjusting Single Reeds" published by
CHAPPELL.

When I bought it the price was $1.50 and it was printed in octavo size. Of
course I took my school notes with a hammer and chisel on a stone tablet so
I really can't say what it would cost today.
