I use Araldite (basic two part) five minute epoxy. Apply with a matchstick
or splinter of old reed. Make sure you keep the hole edge clean, and be
prepared to go slow and build up with more than one application if you're
unsure. Once hardened you can carefully remove excess inside the hole with
a small round file. Also clean the wood with denatured alcohol before
applying, and stand the joint up, upside down, with the epoxy at the (then)
bottom of the hole so it doesn't run where you don't want it to.
