Here are three important links. The first is a list of most of the =
community bands in the USA and across Europe. The second is the Associatio=
n of Concert Bands, which is mostly about community bands. The third link =
is the big National Band Association which is geared more towards =
educational bands at schools and colleges.
I conduct our town's community band some semesters and it is extremely =
rewarding to do. We all donate our time and talents, and the players, =
which run from high school to folks in their 80's, are there because they =
still "need" to make music. Something professionals occasionally =
forget...
