Henry arranged the Beethoven Opus 131 for the Dorian Quintets, and I heard
them play it. It's an excellent arrangement. the Kreutzer sonata is not
known to me.

Dan Leeson mentioned the dectet version of this work, reminding me of
two other such transcriptions that might also interest those interested
in the Mendelssohn transcription.

1. The Beethoven Kreutzer Sonata, Op. 47, for woodwind dectet, arranged
by Verne Reynolds. Supposedly available from Boosey and Hawkes.

2. The Beethoven Quartet No. 14, op. 131, in c#, for woodwind quintet,
arr. by Henry Brandt. This is available by rental, but I can't recall
who from.
