Dear Mr. Pay:

First I love your work. It is amazing how beautiful so-called period
clarinets actually sound. I can just imagine the fingerings...

W.r.t. Krommer, we can get the Musica Rara score in North-America from
various university libraries. We will get a score and produce orchestral
parts for Movement #1, the only movement our student will actually play.
It is a short movement scored for 5 string voices and timpani. No big
deal really.

The clarinet teacher (Professor Yves Léveillé) is also Conductor of the
Conservatoire Orchestra, and Conductor of the Gatineau Symphony
Orchestra, so he will be able to provide a critical look - both as a
clarinetist and as a Conductor - at the results of this transcription.

I was wondering, should we run into something really weird that we
cannot figure out, could we run a couple of issues by you and get your
feedback?

Sincerely yours,

Mario Poirier
