Hello List,

May I ask whether somebody could recommend a piece for
string bass (solo) accompanied by clarinet choir (if
possible without the contra- clarinets) ?

It's an all amateur group, and the piece should be
played as an exam piece for string bass.

If none such piece comes to mind, we're open to
suggestions about clarinet choir + solo "lower
instrument that can be transposed to string bass".
