Subj: [kl] Mozart Clarinet Concerto omissions

I am getting ready to tape my audition for a
scholarship & appearance on the From the Top radio
show and I will be playing the 2nd and 3rd mov of the
Mozart Clarinet Concerto. The radio station requested
that each piece be limited to 4 minutes each. I need
help with deciding which sections to omit in the Rondo
to get it down to 4min. & not damaging the quality of
the mov. too much. On the Adagio, my clarinet
instructor suggested just to omit the sections with
only the orchestra accompaniment. So that should work
out fine. I wish the Rondo was a little easier to cut!
