Does anyone have a technique to play the triplet patterns in the
third movement of the Spohr Concerto #4 at an extremely fast
tempo? The pattern I refer to is two sixteenth note triplets in one
beat, BUT the first note of the second triplet is the SAME as the
last note of the first triplet - e.g A B C - C D E. It also occurs
with three triplets in a row - e.g. A B C - C D E - E F G. I have a
very quick tongue and if the "same" notes were different, it would
not be a problem. But for some reason this slows me down.
