You missed my point.

I belive you that the instrument is great. I believe
you that you like gold plating. My opinion on gold
plating is irelevent.

I was just trying to come up with another possibility
of why even someone who is looking for a very good
basset horn and is willing to spend a lot of money on
it wouldn't buy yours.
