The thing I found most annoying about wwbw was that they were always
willing to sell you stuff they didn't have. Their catalog and online
store seemed to have everything under the sun, but didn't. Yes,
everyone has issues with suppliers. Yes, they had an in-stock field in
the description. It was often wildly inaccurate.

I waited 9 months for a set of Buffet tuning rings. They may have
achieved vintage status while I waited to get them.

The web site was very poor too. Talk about dopey management. A
business that does as much online as these guys did/do needs to
constantly improve the experience. It doesn't seem like they did one
lick of work on it for years (though there was a big sale to celebrate
their new web site, oops, same as the old one).

Musicians Friend at least tries to make their site usable (the
entertainment is optional).

I would never, ever have have bought an instrument from these guys.
Probably won't buy one from MF either.
