I flew last week with my oboe (and screwdrivers), and had no problem at all
-- a contrast to one prior experience, when they did a bag search based on it
looking odd, I suppose. This time (and the last time I flew, for that
matter), it sailed on through. The last time, the security guy even asked me what
sort of instrument it was, and commented that he had processed a French horn
earlier in the day.

I think their consciousness has been raised.
