Howdy List,

I had the chance to see Walter Grabner on Wednesday night. He took time out
of his busy mouthpiece making to come see me and my section mates in the US
Air Force Band. I must completely rave about the Lawrie Bloom model of his
mouthpieces for bass clarinet. The one that I bought is simply a head
turner! All of you should give them a shot...it is an amazing thing!!!!
Also, I have seen much talk about the Zinner barrels. Walter brought some
cocabola barrels with him. Good stuff. It definitely "sweetens" the sound.
Again, these will definitely be worth a shot.
Thanks again to Walter for taking time out to head and see us on tour.

Cheers,

J. Blake Arrington
Clarinetist, The United States Air Force Band
