Subj: [kl] MP question.

I have a Meyer 6M alto mouthpiece with the brand name, 'MEYER' halfway
up the front face, (halfway between the shank and beginning of the
beak), instead of down near the bottom of the front face like most all
other Meyers' I see. It has the standard 6M stamp on the table but I
cannot find any signs of printing on the shank...........Does anyone
know if the odd location of the word MEYER signifies anything in
particular?

MP plays fine and has no visible damage or faults, etc..
