Margaret, Dan, All,
I needed to think about this for a day. I noted
Meyer's performance of K. 581 here:

Margaret is an infinitely more experienced musician
than I, but I don't remember anything like a cadenza
in that performance. As I remember now, Sabine Meyer
played a rather simple transition on that held note at
the end of the slow portion. I joked that I wished I
had had pizza later with you, Margaret. Well, I'm
glad I saw you that night; it really would have been
great to talk more and to hear your thoughts about
what we heard.
