I have come upon a question that no-one seems to have the answer to. Here it
is:

IN the Artistic Studies Book 1 From the French School there is an Etude on
page 61 No. 16 in Bb Major.

IN measure 20 there is a turn. If you play a Bb in this turn it sounds
wrong. If you play a B Natural it sounds better. Now I have asked several
instructors and they all have a different opinion. Some have said that it's
an ornament and that we can play whichever one we prefer. It's to my
understanding that if not instructed underneath the turn it should follow
the key signature. Does anyone know the correct answer?

In measure 28 in the last sixteen's the notes are D, C, Bb, A, Gnatural and
F#. My question is do we flat the D, C and A as well because it's within the
same measure of the chromatic? Some say natural others say flat.

I appreciate any help anyone can spare, and I thank you in advance. I tried
including a small excerpt of both measures, but it wouldn't go thru.

Respectfully,
Myrna
