He is said to be a fine Mozart performer as well. Last summer David, Ofer,
and Yaki gave the new Klezmer Concerto a trial run in Germany on a program
that included the Mozart concerto. Ofer assured me that it was real Mozart
played with elegance and finesse. David is obviously a real musician who
can approach more than one kind of music with intelligence and sensitivity.
