There was a time when I was too proud to overhaul cheap plastic clarinets like Bundy, Evette and Vito. Then we had an earthquake in Santa Cruz in '89 and I would do ANYTHING to pay the help, and took on a Bundy. With a custom overhaul it REALLY PLAYED! Now I am GLAD to do them!

My rates are higher than a "re-pad", the work is good. The clarinets come up much better than when new. I will do Bundy, Vito, Buffet, post '83 Evette, and Wurlitzer (Vito made). For other brands call me. I will NOT do one common brand.
It is a waste of money to do pre '83 Evette plastics. Artleys vary so much....

Since there are untold thousands of these plastic clarinets out there, it is a very reasonable answer to cheap clarinets. A quality overhaul is about half the price of a new clarinet and is much better than assembly line work, or general repairs.
