Subj: [kl] Stephen Adelstein Reed Clinic
Date: Sun, 08 Oct 2006 22:39:13 -0400

We are scheduling a clinic in our Saratoga store On Sunday Oct 15 at 4pm.
This is subject to minimum sign-ups in ADVANCE.

Steve is the inventor of the "American Scrape" for oboe. He soloed with orchestras all over the world, was first call for years in New York, taught at 14 colleges, performed in the Clarion and Philadelphia Quintets and auditioned the Fulbright Scholars.

Every time we have had him he has left us all better players and much more confidant in our playing. The clinic is for single and double reed players and is on advanced reed finishing.

Note: The Benny Goodman recording of the Mozart was stalled because of reed problems. A young Steve Adelstein said humbly; "May I help you?", and the recording went on.

This is part of our visiting artist series at Kurt Heisig Music, and is held as our contribution to the musical community.

Cost is $100 per person made out to STEPHEN ADELSTEIN---not me. We need advanced registration, so call me at (831) 425-5658 or (408) 867-7372 to get a spot.

Kurt Heisig
