Myrna -

If you go to the klarinet bboard here:
http://test.woodwind.org/Search/index.html and use the search engine
provided, there is much discussion about hardwood mouthpieces. I bring up 61
threads containing numerous posts and some posts from this mailing list by
typing in the two words - hardwood mouthpieces - in the search box.

Be sure that the "The Klarinet Mailing List Archives" and "The Woodwind.Org
Clarinet Bulletin Board" checkboxes are checked, and that the dropbox below
the search box reads "Relevancy".

Best to you,

Gregory Smith

Does anyone know the life expectancy of a wood mouthpiece? Do they work
well? I hear that they project a darker tone, is that correct? Are they
really any better than the Zinner mouthpieces?

With Great Respect,
Myrna
