Thanks for adding clarity to the Brook Mayes situation=2E Word got to us
that it was the First Act lawsuit=2E From 2 of our music dealers we deal
with=2E With insurance paying off the suit it has to be slumping sales=2E=

They attributed that to the market being flooded at Target and other
chains=2E=20

The cost of musical instruments have gone us so much over the past several=

years that some parents find dept=2E store instruments irresitable=2E Eba=
y is
another big problem for us=2E Some over seas companies use titles like
"Selma" or "Bessler" to sound like Selmer or Besson=2E And the ebay site
says, "Band director approved"=2E I always offer to help a parent if they=

are looking on the net, if I know about it=2E

According to the reporting of the Dallas News, Brook-Mays was not closed
because of the First Act lawsuit, which their insurer paid out on=2E
