Let's think of this from the person's viewpoint who is buying the
instrument. What do they want and need. If that is the focus of both the
management and all person's involved in the process of meeting that need,
then the other issues have a better chance of happening. If not, the
consumer will go to where their needs are being met, and they can have what
is left.
