There's at least one other mouthpiece maker who makes his own blanks,
including the material itself: Ed Pillinger, English clarinetist and
maker of handmade mouthpieces. I own one, and I love it. Ed is the
most accommodating, knowledgeable person I've encountered in the
world of clarinets. He charges 110 pounds for his mouthpieces, and
his range is very, very large. He'll duplicate mouthpieces (although
I don't recall what he charges for that service).
