As noted, this is definitely a case of 'you get what
you pay for'. I had the "opportunity" to play one of
those clarinets when the repair tech at the store
asked me to give it a try. In playing a chromatic
scale up and down from E to E (I couldn't bear to go
higher into the altissimo), the C#/G# key had bent so
far out of position that by the time I went to play
the descending G# (i.e. the third time I was to use
that key) I couldn't find it.

If normal playing technique (and I am experienced) can
bend the keys, the clarinet will have to be 'fixed' on
a weekly basis. Since kids often use exessive force
on the keys as they first learn, you may find that
weekly repair is a BEST case scenario.
