Klarinet Archive - Posting 000332.txt from 2006/09
From: "Bruce M" <bmcgar@-----.com> Subj: [kl] Stubbins clarinet and "proper form" Date: Sat, 30 Sep 2006 11:48:17 -0400
I bought a Stubbins clarinet on E-bay for a song (probably because it was
listed as a Stubbens and few people knows about Stubbins horns, anyway) to
examine the action and make some measurements. It's a Vito, and in very good
shape, but I have enough clarinets to choke a horse. (Visualize that!)
I'm finished with it now, and want to sell it really cheap. If you're
interested, please reply off-list.
By the way, I'm interested in hearing list members' opinions about posting
notices like this on the list. I, for one, like to see them, and when I do
it myself, I try to keep them short and to the point. But if the consensus
is that it's bad form, I'll stop.
