Selling that thing is like selling a child. I really don't want
to do it, but I'm not really interested in playing any longer.
That's not exactly accurate. I like to play, I don't like to
practice. Besides, I'm 74 now and I began playing professionally
at 16. That's enough. I find it difficult to control my temper
when some 20 year old conductor tries to tell me how something
goes.

See you on my next visit to Tehachipe.

Thanks, Dan,
Thanks for letting me play this horn once. Thanks for
your posting on eBay the most interesting posting I've
ever read there. Thanks for writing your books. And
thanks for chatting about Mozart and about Dark Tone
once in a while.

I won't buy the basset horn. It's not for me at this
time. But I sort of hope someone from the list buys
it. In a fashion, it would be keeping it in the
family. I want to hear about its further adventures!

And yes, charge for the peanuts. Get rich!

Wayne
