Yeah, well, Mozart didn't write no nonets. I know about the Adagio, but it
wasn't going to work out. Maybe on a future clarinettissimo, we'll do Eric
Mandats huge clarinet choir.

Like all 12 of the Mozart duets, this is an arrangement - this time of the
Piano and Violin Sonata in G major. Both versions are interesting and
beautiful.
There are two sets of six duets, labeled Opus 70 and 77. The 77s are
clearly not by Mozart, and the 70s probably aren't either, but at various
points in history some people have been certain that they were. The 70s
are better arrangements and significantly differ from the originals. I'll
talk more about this at the concert.
