Judging from the number of bass clarinets we get into our shop for repairs
from schools, they cannot be all THAT neglected. We see many of them
multiple times in a school year. However, they are extremely prone to
damage from carelessness, due to the long keys and rods among other
things. I always say that a bass clarinet BY DEFINITION has SOMETHING out
of adjustment on it.
