I thought the original was for a 1940s dance band like
Stravinsky's Ebony Concerto was scored for Woody Herman's band.
Maybe I'm wrong. I never played the piece in any case so I
should keep my mouth shut.

a - what the original instrumentation is for the Bernstein
Prelude Fugue and
Riffs

and

b - if there is a clarinet/piano reduction available.
