The only time I've played this with 2 E flats was at Kneller Hall,
where we had a band of 101 musicians for the concert which included
half a dozen E flats ( and they somehow all played in tune!!}, also a
couple of altos. Subsequently I've only played it with one Eflat. I
think the second is optional, as is the sop. sax, altough it is nice
to have one (but not two!).
