Does anyone remember what the clarinet parts are for the Prokofiev Romeo and
Juliet ballet suites? There are both bass and tenor sax, but I can't
remember whether the tenor is in one of the clarinet parts and whether or
not the bass part is a separate part or doubles as 3rd clarinet. Kalmus says
(in their catalog) 3+tenor sax, which doesn't tell me for sure. If the tenor
part is in fact separate, how much does that player do outside of the one
solo everyone remembers?>>>>>>

Tenor sax is separate from the three clarinet parts. The bass clarinet part
is not easy, and is written in bass clef. You really need to get a fourth
person to play tenor. Get a GOOD tenor sax player, the part has many exposed
solos! (My orchestra played this recently and suffered from the lack of an expert
tenor sax player).
