The work is published in one edition, namely Boosey & Hawkes.
The parts are as you have been told except that I remember
playing the b.c. part. I am, of course, speaking about the band
arrangement, not the orchestra version.

Subject: [kl] Vaughan Willaims - English Folk Dances

Hi all:

I'm looking for the answer to this in other sources as
well, but:

I got a call from the librarian of a concert band I
play with, warning me about the clarinet
instrumentation for the Vaughan-Williams listed in the
subject (divisi Eb clarinet part, solo, 1,2 & 3 Bb).
He didn't tell me what edition the band has (I don't
even know if there are different editions...).

My question: Does anyone know how unique the Eb parts
are compared to the Bb parts?

Thanks for any information you may have!

Diane Karius
