A difference of two millimeters will make a huge difference in pitch. A
shorter barrel will effect the notes on the top joint of the clarinet more than
those on the lower joint.

It is true that different mouthpieces tune differently. That is because they
have differing size and shape of the chamber.

Several makers advertise mouthpieces that will play easily at 442, that
might help your problem. However, I would look at barrels first and mouthpieces
second. If you are the person who said they were playing on a barrel of almost
66.67 length, I would tell you that that is most likely the biggest cause of
your problems. I carry a 66 mm and a 65 mm barrel (for my Bb clarinets)
everywhere I go, not knowing what pitch level I might run in to. Many groups in
Chicago play quite sharp, starting out at 442 and then rising as temperature,
etc changes....
