Dear List,

In a strange quirk of fate, I find myself in the position of
potentially programming the Mozart with full orchestra next year.
Having spent way too much time in my life looking at the
clarinet/piano editions (hey, a guy has to have a hobby), I have
come to realize that the only orchestral editions I have ever dealt
with are the Dover reprint score and the Neue Mozart Ausgabe score,
both of which are for study rather than performing purposes. Well,
the Dover edition is just cheap. So I put to the list this question:

What is your preferred orchestral performance edition of K.622 these
days and why?

I should add that the performer (not myself) will not have access to
a basset clarinet for purely financial reasons. Of course, I've
already revealed my sinful preference for the A clarinet on this list
and readily accept the significant likelihood that my eternity will
be spent in a very hot place.
