Apropos a posting this morning:

The Klarinet email list is completely unmoderated. Sometimes people
should moderate themselves.

Remember, all posts are archived for posterity at
http://test.woodwind.org/Databases/Klarinet, along with being searchable
via http://test.woodwind.org/Search/index.html . Google sends a spider
daily to those archives, so they're globally searchable in a couple of
days on average, and once a page is in Google it's there forever. The
spider's already come and gone ...

Also, people Google their own name often, along with prospective
employers searching for comments made by interviewees.
