I moved to SLC after graduation (82) and participated in the Mormon
Youth Symphony, which has dissolved and is now 'Orchestra on Temple
Square'. It was a great experience. The arts are very strong in the
valley. I had a piano professor (in Texas) tell me that, per capita,
there are more pianists in the SLC region than anywhere in the
nation. I've never seen statistics on that, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Besides it's locality, the arts made it a great place to live.
