Of course, there is once again a comparison to players of other instruments.
My wife is shopping for a viola bow to use *as a spare.* She isn't looking
nearly top-of-the-line and she hasn't liked anything she's tried with a
price tag below $3,000. Bows the equivalent of the mouthpieces we're talking
about are probably not available for 3 times that.

We're still the cheapest game on the block. ;-)
