Cork grease will be confiscated at security.

Surely you don't grease the joints every time it is assembled? Anyway, I
have never had the clarinet assembled when inspected by security.

Does anyone know if carrying cork grease in the case and carrying it on
has been questioned by the security people?

I have to travel to Knoxville, Tennessee this Friday and will be
carrying on my clarinet. I have already decided to not carry my
mouthpiece or any other accessories in the case, but I was wondering
about cork grease just in case the security personnel want me to
assemble the clarinet for them.

Perhaps someone coming back from the Clarinetfest in Atlanta can share
what they went through. Speaking of Clarinetfest, I was not able to
attend. I am looking forward to someone sharing some comments about it
on the list.
