Boby,
What I suspect you have is most of a curved-headjoint flute. These are
for little kids so they can reach the holes. The curved part comes in
two parts. Check the lip plate. If it is wider above the air hole then
below it, that's what you have. The head joint of a curved head joint
set is made to face the opposite way, so to speak. Thus, it will seem
to be upside down if it is put on without the curved part. Let me know.
