I will explaine my self:
AN oboe - is one instrument but A clarinet is a pair - if you have only Bb - you can't play Mozart, Schumann etc.
Its takes two clarinets to Tango.
About mouthpueces - we definetly have a much better deal then oboes and bassoons.
