But, as you know, that has nothing at all to do with retail price. If
Buffet must raise its production costs, and this its prices to dealers in
order to achieve better quality, let them do so. The retail market prices
will rise by roughly the same amount. To arbitrarily raise the retail
price while doing NOTHING to change production costs or wholesale price
theoretically helps the small dealer compete, but gives the customer
NOTHING for the extra money.
