When Oliver typed or otherwise entered his his characters _his_email
client decided that the email must be a rich-text type of format and
decided to change the MIME type text/plain to something different.
The list accepts text/plain and very little else; it ignores the charset
encoding.
In fact, this message uses Chinese Big5 encoding ... /8^)
