I met Mr. Mack back in Feb of this year. I was at the Cleveland
Institute of Music for an audition for Spoletto. He came out of his
office and I made myself speak to him. I am glad that I did. I studied
oboe with a former students of his, Robert Sorton. The knowledge
passed on to Mr.Sorton has even helped me as a clarinetist. What a
wonderful and talented person Mr. Mack was!
