I am *so* tired of hearing all this twaddle about Dan, Mozart and the
fabuloso basset horn. What a crock.

Dan's only 74. Sheesh.

As far as putting the horn on Ebay, why bother? It's a pile of horse dung.
I saw it at the Clarinet festival in New Orleans - a downright fugly piece
of equipment, brown the color of cow chips. Can't imagine that you'll get
your money back, even if you throw in the Fobes imitation-mouthpiece that
you insist does so well.

Good luck - you'll need it.

[P.S. - my daughter is seven, very cute. Can I trade her for it? Straight
up. You'll love her, I promise. ;-) ]

[P.S.S. Congrats on the 74 thing. We all should live so long, and do so
well!]
