I am thinking of buying a rosewood clarinet.
I hesitate because I know I want it for the way it looks.
(But it also sounds great).

Yet I worry about upkeep, cracking, oiling, expansion and contraction,
intonation in warm or cool rooms.

So my question is:
What is the difference, besides color, between rosewood and grenadilla
clarinets?
