Neotech also has a harness style support for saxes. I tried them at the
NAMM show this last January. Pretty nice. No weight on the neck at
all, and the neoprene construction aided in comfort. The neoprene is
not for everybody, but it works for me. (Of course they were out of
Bari harnesses..... :-b ) I know that my associate uses a stand for her
Alto sax, but she plays with it centered rather than to the side.
I would be interested in learning more about this strap of Kurt's as well.
