Karl,
Forget the stand. Get a HARNESS. They sell these in the catalogues
(both Weiner and WW/BW). The harness transfers the weight off the neck
and to the whole back. I use one for Bari and it is wonderful. If you
must get a stand, there used to be something called the "weight lifter"
from Robert James Products.
