Dear Karla & David,
Welcome to the mad house! We all subscribe to this list because we have a
love for the clarinet and a desire to learn more about it and playing it and
the music for it.

BUT! You are going to have to learn to live with a whole of other guff that
ends up on these posts. Don't get sucked in to the many off topic
digressions by people who have too much time on their hands. You will learn
to recognise who they are, and to have your delete button ready. But do
scan some of these posts because sometimes somewhere in there is a nugget of
worthwhile clarinet gold.

Karla, with regard to fingerings for clarinet, have a look at the Klose
method, the 633 (from memory) Daily Exercises will take you through just
about every possible fingering you need to know without going to extremes.
Just don't try to play them all in one day!

Cheers, and all the best form Australia.
Geoff.
