Don't give up yet. The klarinet community may sometimes resemble a
picture by Hogarth (e.g.
<http://www.peterwestern.f9.co.uk/hogarth/hogarth41.html>), but in 5
years of membership I've learnt more about clarinets and clarinet music
than I ever did in the preceding 50.
