Mark, what is her autoreply replying to? Why only to _my_ posts?

These days, I do, Mark. I admit it. I'm 90% of the way towards
giving up on mailing lists. (Actually, I only subscribe to one...
Klarinet.) It's gotten to the point where, when I need to purchase
something on the Internet, I look up the price on the web page and then
I order by postal service or telephone. Otherwise every time I order
something, they send me emails and more emails about other "great
ideas". I already know that their company exists, otherwise how would
have I ordered from them in the first place? The difference between
email and postal "junk mail" is that an email doesn't cost them $.37 (or
whatever junk mail postage costs these days), and therefore I don't get
so much postal junk. I know I shouldn't feel this way, there's lots of
good stuff on the Internet, including here on Klarinet.

But I am receiving spam from more than just Anitatu's autoreply. And
of course, some of it is especially offensive. The totality of it all
*has* worn my skin very thin. It's a personal thing, I guess, but it's
how I feel.

Thanks for explaining about Anitatu,

Bill
