Risking adding fuel to the fire, I had a student about three years ago come
to me with an Accent clarinet. I was able to do a side by side comparison
with both the Buffet E11 and R13.

The Accent came out a VERY POOR third to the E11 with the R13 way on top.

The Accent was OK as long as you didn't mind completely uneven response,
pitch and tone quality note to note. Any note above high 'C' was about a
quarter step flat !

Overall, "in my opinion" the Accent was not even a half way decent beginner
horn.
